Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026.
MyMiniBet asks for no account, no email address, no password and no phone number. This page explains, in plain words, what the site keeps so your bets with friends can work, and for how long.
Who is responsible for your data?
Christelle Chocho, sole trader, publisher of MyMiniBet. Address: 28 rue de la Paix, 77170 Servon, France. Email: contact@prozissimo.com.
The data we process
- The bet: the question, the answer type, the possible answers, the unit, the dare (or stake) text, the date predictions close, the result, the language and the creation date.
- The friends league: a secret code and the list of its bets.
- Participants: the first name or nickname they chose, their prediction and its date. A nickname is enough; don’t type your last name.
- A browser fingerprint: your browser creates a random identifier; the server only keeps a salted fingerprint (HMAC) of it. It is used only to allow one prediction per phone and to let you change it.
- The organizer link: it contains a secret token; the server only keeps a salted fingerprint of it.
- Your IP address: it is never stored in the database. A salted fingerprint is kept for a few minutes, in the server’s memory only, to limit abuse (too many bets or votes in a row).
- Daily totals: number of visits, page views, bets created, predictions and shares, added up per day, with no cookie or identifier.
Nothing else: MyMiniBet does not read your contacts and never knows your email or your phone number.
Who sees what?
The contents of a bet (question, answers, dare, first names) are only visible to people who have its link. Before predictions close, they see the first names of those who have made a prediction, but not their answers; when predictions close, all predictions are revealed. That link is the only key: only send it to people you choose. Bet pages are never published on a public page or indexed by search engines.
Anyone with the organizer link can close predictions, announce the result and delete the bet: keep it to yourself.
The organizer is responsible for what they write. The publisher may delete abusive bets. To report abuse, including for authorities under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA): contact@prozissimo.com.
Why, and on what legal basis?
- To run the service you use (create a bet, make, change or withdraw a prediction, announce the result, keep the league ranking, delete a bet). Legal basis: performance of the service you request (GDPR article 6.1.b).
- To protect the site against abuse and measure its audience with anonymous statistics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR article 6.1.f).
- To measure the audience with Google Analytics and, later, show Google AdSense ads. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR article 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time.
What your browser keeps (no consent needed, because it is essential)
The site uses your browser’s local storage (localStorage), not a cookie, to keep:
- the random identifier and the first name you chose;
- the list of bets opened on this device (your My bets page);
- the organizer tokens of the bets you created.
This information stays in your browser and is never sent to third parties. You can erase it from your browser settings (site data for myminibet.com); My bets will then be empty, but the bets themselves can still be opened with their link.
Cookies and Google services
By default, MyMiniBet sets no cookies.
- Audience measurement: if the publisher turns it on, Google Analytics 4 is only loaded if you accept it in the consent window.
- Advertising: the site may later show Google AdSense ads on guide pages, only after your choice in Google’s certified consent message (CMP), and never on a bet’s page.
You can change your choices at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
How long do we keep your data?
- A bet and its predictions: deleted automatically 1 year after predictions close.
- A bet that received no prediction: deleted 60 days after predictions close.
- The organizer can delete their bet at any time; a participant can withdraw their prediction while predictions are open.
- The IP address fingerprint: a few minutes, in memory only.
- Daily totals: 400 days.
Who receives your data?
We don’t sell your data and don’t pass it on to any third party.
- OVH SAS hosts the site and its database on servers located in France.
- Google provides, only if you accept it, Google Analytics audience measurement and, later, AdSense ads. Google then processes that data under its own rules, possibly outside the European Union with the safeguards required by the GDPR: see Google’s privacy policy. Apart from this, no data leaves the European Union.
- Authorities may receive data when the law requires it.
Younger users
MyMiniBet is meant for teenagers and adults. If you are under 15 in France (or under the age set in your country, between 13 and 16 depending on the EU country), don’t accept audience measurement (or, later, advertising) without a parent’s agreement: decline it in the consent window. In any case, a nickname is enough to make a prediction.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, or object to processing, by emailing contact@prozissimo.com. Since there is no account, please include the link of the bet concerned and the first name you used. While predictions are open, you can also change or withdraw your prediction yourself.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or to your local authority.
